Hi I’m Darius, the founder of Horion Tutors. I am a DBS-checked tutor with over 2 years of experience helping students aged 4 - 16 build confidence and excel in Maths, Physics and Biology in GCSEs, 11+ exams and Economics for A-level students.

I’m currently studying French and Business Management at the University of Manchester, after achieving A-Levels in Economics, French and Maths. My students have consistently made strong progress, with many surpassing school targets — whether they’re preparing for exams or simply building their foundation in key subjects.

Alongside private tutoring, I’ve worked as a gap assistant at Thomas’s Battersea and Notting Hill Prep, supporting mainly Years 3 to 8 with both academic and extracurricular learning. This experience has given me valuable insight into how children learn in structured environments and how to adapt my teaching to suit each student’s needs.
